Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) examinations

Passenger/goods lifts, stair lifts, forklift and reach trucks, tele-handlers, pallet trucks, mobile elevating work platforms (“MEWP”), hoists, cranes (mobile, overhead, gantry, jib and lorry-mounted), lifting accessories (chains, slings, eyebolts etc.) garage equipment, recovery vehicles, tail lifts, care home equipment (bath and patient hoists)

Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) examinations

  • Compressed air and inert gaseous systems, pressured hot water systems, vessels, associated pipe work and safety devices in accordance with a Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) and defined as minor systems in accordance with HSE ACOP Safety of Pressure Systems 2000.

Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations

  • A wide variety of non-statutory inspections to help compliance with general health and safety management best practice. Dump trucks, scrap handlers, road rollers.
  • – Passenger & goods lifts.
  • – Materials handling equipment, including fork lift trucks, reach trucks, side loaders, rough terrain trucks, tele-handlers, stacker trucks and pallet trucks.
  • – Mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs).
  • – Lifting accessories, including chains, slings, eyebolts, shackles and wire ropes, web slings, round slings.
  • – Hoists, including electric hoist blocks, chain blocks and wire rope blocks.
  • – Cranes, including mobile cranes, lorry loader cranes, overhead cranes, gantry and manual jib cranes.
  • – Excavators, scrap handlers, hook/drop loaders, skip loaders, tail lifts.
  • – Garage equipment, vehicle lifts, jacks, recovery vehicles, engine cranes.
  • – Care home equipment, bath hoists, patient hoists, stair lifts and patient harnesses.
  • – Working at height PPE, harnesses, work positioning lanyards, fall arrests, restraint systems.
  • – Pressure systems, safety devices and associated pipe work.
  • – Equipment, plant & machinery that falls under the umbrella of PUWER.
